After traveling to another match Nick came back with a couple of challenging stages to improve. One of them is shooting from the T-post (in this case steel garden T-post with the hook or without). There are lots of different bags and accessories you can use, but here Nick is using reasor bag and mainly focuses on stabilizing himself and his rifle. Another important part is to break your position after each shot, so you can quickly rebuild your position on the match the same way.

I have been shooting precision rifle matches for 5 years now, started from local prone matches, slowly ventured into PRS/NRL and team field matches. My first match rifle was Tikka Sporter in 6.5×55 Sweed helped me consistently finishing in top 10 in the first year of shooting. Currently, I shoot for team Nosler, Defiance and KRG. After navigating waters of precision rifle shooting on my own I want to share my knowledge with shooters that are looking to start competing or bring their game to the next level View all posts by Precision Rifle Academy
